Shannons German Car Display 20 Sep 2015

Car is clean (as clean as a daily driver for 2 kids under 6 can be), I will aim to get there between 8:30 and 9:00. Hoping there's no pre-registration or club membership I've overlooked so I don't get the same frosty reception as I did from the Merc club a few years ago when I just rocked up in the morning.

Look forward to catching up with the local Audi crew again.

15 Audis from Fox to R8 & RS6 and much in between. Unfortunately the local Audi dealer seemed to be missing in action which was a pity as the crowd was as big as I have seen at an Autofest. Great day, weather was spot on. Many thanks to all those who made the journey from interstate and locally. Having been made aware that there is a Sydney and Newcastle event every year, a few of us will look at reciprocating and partaking in the other meets.

any photos?

There will be, no shortage of cameras pointing at the cars, just need to track down the owners. I have a few on my phone, just need to download them.

**Don't know who owns the Red Audi but it was parked in the rare marques rather than with AUDI. Also a couple in with the VW crowd so there was more than 15 all up.

The red Audi is mine. Its a 1982 200 5T. I'm a member of the rare marques club.

Nice car. Next event you should come and kick a few wheels. There is plenty of interest in the older models around Canberra but they are spread between all the local clubs so hard to know where an Audi might show up. The Fox won the AUDI section trophy so it wasn't all about fast and expensive.

The kid who owned the white Quattro that came at the end might have been in with a chance if he had got there earlier.

Hopefully I'll have the 100 Coupe S back on the road by next September. I might be in with a chance for the trophy then.

Agree. He'll need to get his head around the concessional rego scheme though. RUS is clamping down further each year and it is a privilege that the clubs are very keen to keep.
