When Wifey recently traded her PFL RS3 on a new RSQ3, we were told by our Dealer, upon delivery, that whilst existing orders (albeit with some delay, that we all knew about) should be OK, Audi would not accept any new orders after close of business on that day (31st Oct).
So, I was wondering if any forum members have had their plans "disrupted" by this development.
There are some demo or almost new cars on Carsales, and I've said before that the non availability of new stock should be good for values of good used RS3s.
This forum seems to have been a bit quiet of late, so maybe not many will see this post, but anyway, just wondering what some of you guys think with respect to, have your plans been affected, & what do you think will be the effect on new car pricing & used values, in view of what is now even more limited delivery scenario?
As far as our new RSQ3 is concerned, it is everything we hoped for. A bit more accessable, perhaps not quite as "sharp" in the handling & ride dept as the old car, but I guess that'd be expected. Of course we haven't had it long, but to date we are both very happy with it. But I never thought we'd own a car with 21" wheels, I go back to the time when our Morris 850 had 10" wheels, and Toranas/Commodores etc were 13", even the SLR5000 had 13" wheels, and the mighty A9X only came with 14"!
One thing I will say, is that, in the past, when we've bought a new car, I've always enjoyed reading the owner's manual, but not much interest from me this time, much of it is more like a "computer" manual, a bit foreign to me, but probably all good for you guys!
Happy motoring, Pickles.
