I am in Brisbane today, but anytime from tomorrow on is fine. I work in Southbank but usually go home at lunch so I can do a scan at lunchtime.
No problems by the way, VCDS is a great tool and paying the dealers sucks.
 
Anyone close to Flemington during the day would be willing to help a fellow member out?
Just need my RNS-E coded to force an update from the nav dvd. It's currently showing S/W X---

I have 2009 Q5 2.0 TFSI with a 7speed S-Tronic DSG .I had this message come up in the dashboard. It happens intermittently and had come 4 or 5 times in the last 2 weeks. "Gearbox malfunction. Limited functionality. You can continue driving" .With help from Rogue we ran a Vag scan. Here are the results ...

The car has 60,000KM on it at the moment and recently completed the 5 year service. Can anyone please help ? Has any one fixed it before ? Any idea of the cost ?

I am happy to help, but I think you should post this in the Q5 forum.
This way, this thread will remain a thread where people can see the list of people that have VCDS only, rather than turning it into a discussion about a specific problem.

I'd love to be able to change my DRL brightness if anyone is willing to help. They're much too dark when the parkers are on. Absolute pet peeve!

VAG COM help [Sydney]

Hi all. Kindly requesting VAGCOM/VCDS help in Sydney. Lower north, inner west, west or Hills. Anywhere really.
I have just installed my OEM Bluetooth module to my RNS-E (which I also fitted myself a while back).
I am looking at coding the BT n RNSE units correctly.
I can make calls when the phone just pairs. I think I have all the codes n this should be quick n easy.

Nobody? Ideally I'd want to enable the MMI option to turn DRLs off, so I can demist my windscreen at the drive ins without 20 angry people wanting to smash my windows in, lol.

What car? I thought you would have a switch in the dash for it. And - who goes to drive ins these days?!? lol
 
I'm hoping someone is able to assist with VAGCOM/VCDS help in the Gold Coast area. Should only take a couple of minutes. I just want to activate an additional menu in the MMI.
 
Are there any VAGCOM users in Sydney who can help me remove a a headlight warning light?

I bought a used 2009 2.0 TFSI Q5 in a private deal, and alter found out that it had been in a front on accident. The auto levelling xenon headlights had been replaced with official Chinese Audi xenon bulbs without auto levelling (fixed). These work fine and are not a problem, however they must be incompatible with the electronics. As when I start the car I get an headlight error message every time (I forget the actual text).

If someone could remove this for me and do any other VAGCOM tweaks to improve my Q5, I'm sure its worth a slab!

Let me know what you think, i'm in Lilyfield and will travel.
