Hey Guys

Now what I'm about to suggest may seem crazy but hear me out!

I'm proposing a Wednesday night drag meet at Willowbank raceway on 17/07/13.

Yes this is the State of Origin decider night. However the last time I went to the drags was on a state of origin night and the track was empty! and some of you may know how busy it gets down there.

So if your like me and dont really give a sh!t about footy, or even if you do but have a score to settle, this will be the night to do it.

Pretty sure its $40 for the night, and you'll need to bring a helmet.

Cold air, Boost and an empty 1/4 mile. What more could you want?!

Show your interest lads, and maybe some one could share this on VWwatercooled?

Do it its great fun, been to Heathcote (Vic) a few times in both the A3 & Q7, a lot harder than it looks, and great to know what the car does!! The Q7 was great fun, what madman brings a truck to the drags, then it was a chorus of that Bloody Fast 14.7sec!!

yeah I'm in for this hey... Jesse come along as i'll get you to show me how to drive my B7 properly... plus i need an excuse to film it from the outside.
 
I'll be in on this if it's still going ahead. I've got an appointment doing a clients' tax returns out that way anyway so it'd be convenient!
 
Hell yeah its still going ahead. My clutch is ready for some punishment. Can't wait to send it down the 1/4 mile. Looking forward to dragging another A4 too Morgan!

Lol, Maybe, but it will be nice to see the benefits of my hard spent cash, as i've not had a chance to drag a stock A4 :-)

Power Monkey - B7 A4
Adam - Pirelli Golf
Jesse - S4
Rob - Notoriously cheeky 207 GTi
Nathan - B7 RS4 (maybe/hopefully)
Simon - RS6

WHO ELSE IS IN? - perfect time to put up a 1/4 mile time, cold air/empty track!

I've been meaning to get a timeslip... I might be in, but I was planning to watch the footy (might go beforehand, then zip home before kickoff).
 
OK Lads, Meeting up at the BP on Milton Road at say 4:45pm, ready to leave at 5pm for Willowbank raceway. Anyone else feel free to meet us at the track.

Bring $45 CASH, helmet, long sleeves and closed shoes.

Hoping to see you there lads :-)
