    Default A4 B6 1.8TQ Heat Shield

Just made a heat shield for my A4, it's 2.5mm alloy cnc routed and bent in a brake press. If there's enough interest I'll make some more so let me know if your after one!

Great work. Any similarities to A4 B5 1.8T?
Great way to insulate and help keep Intake Air Temps low.

There's not much difference mainly just the intake from the grill, if I had a B5 to measure I could make it to suit.

If any of you live down Melbourne SE and can spare an hour or two I'd be more than happy to measure up your car and make adjustments where needed to fit a B5!.

If you can make these for a B5 I am very interested!

Cost depending of course, have been looking for something like this for some time.

Might have a mate down this way interested as well. Would need to get a price and get back to you on that.

I have a b6 so I just need B5 to use as a reference to ensure a good fit and I'm happy to make them, the cost would be around $60 + postage if your not able to pick up. I run a noodle manifold in my b6 and it gets damn hot but with the heat shield the Pod filter stays nice and cold with no heat soak even on 30+ degree days.

I'm in Tas so I'd need it to be shipped.

I would let you use my car, but unfortunately I can't. I don't really know anyone in Vic with a B5 either.

What about if you showed me where you needed to measure? I could do like a video call at some point soon if you're that keen? :P

That might just be crazy enough to work, it's mainly the difference in the air intake from the grill. Send me a pm I'm free Sunday we'll see if we can work it out!

Sure, I'll see what I can organize Sunday. I actually have next week off work so if Sunday does not work we can sort something else out if it suits you.
